For the final installment of the Harry Potter series, IMAX reported global box office of $23.5 million on 394 screens, for a per-screen average of $60,000.

The UK was amongst a number of countries that set new records for the highest-grossing title of an IMAX digitally re-mastered film.

Top IMAX runs include the London BFI, which generated $190,000 in IMAX box office sales.

In the US and Canada, IMAX grossed $15.5 million on 274 screens over the opening weekend.

As well as the UK, Japan, Brazil, and Costa Rica all set new records for the highest-grossing title of an IMAX digitally re-mastered film.

Other highlights include:

UK gross box office (GBO) of $1.1 million on 15 screens for a per-screen average (PSA) of $75,000.
