--------------- New/Updated Features --------------

**A Tribute to Judy Garland**
An updated 83rd birthday salute to the actress and singer who starred in
one of the world's most beloved films, but experienced heartbreak in her
own too-short life.

**A Tribute to Ronald Reagan**
He was President of the U.S. and Governor of California, but classic movie
fans remember him as the star of films like "Brother Rat" and "Bedtime for
Bonzo."

**A Tribute To Tony Curtis**
He began life as a Jewish boy named Bernie Schwartz, a tough kid from the
Bronx, and ended up with the name Anthony Curtis, appearing on film
opposite the likes of Cary Grant, Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, Burt
Lancaster, and Henry Fonda, and, incidentally, outliving them all. Happy
birthday, Tony!

He went from B-movie actor to TV star to spaghetti western star to
Oscar-nominated director and living legend, constantly reinventing himself

--------------- New on DVD -------------------

Here are the most intriguing new DVD releases this week, including a
collection of Steve McQueen films:

"Never So Few," "The Cincinnati Kid," "Bullitt" (Special Edition, with five
hours of extras), "The Getaway," "Papillon," and "Tom Horn." Also available

"Jules And Jim" ("Jules Et Jim") (Special Edition) (1961) - Arguably
Francois Truffaut's masterpiece, this romantic drama examines the
relationship between friends Jules (Oskar Werner) and Jim (Henri Serre) as
they both fall for the alluring Catherine (Jeanne Moreau). Over the course
of 25 years, the lives of both men become intertwined with that of their
shared dream girl. With Vanna Urbino, Boris Bassiak.

"Easy Come, Easy Go" (1967) - When Navy underwater demolitions expert
Elvis Presley finds gold in a sunken wreck during his final service dive,
he comes back with an oddball crew to recover the treasure. Along with the
high seas action, Elvis stops by a beatnik discotheque "at a freak-out
that's out of sight!" and sings "Love Machine," "I'll Take Love" and the
title tune. With Dodie Marshall, Pat Harrington.

--------------- Best New Links ------------------

More best new links (new to us, anyway) were added to the Classic Movies
site this week:

**30 Great Westerns - A new article from "images" Film Journal that
Western fans will want to bookmark for permanent reference.

**James Booth - A Tribute Website - Diana Blackwell's site dedicated to
the tall British stage, screen, and television actor who appeared in
"Zulu" as the reluctant but ultimately heroic Private Hook.

**Movie Quotes - Dedicated to "cool one-liners" from movies and TV shows,
with over 4800 quotes currently in the database.

**The Cesar Romero Tribute Page - Perhaps best known to today's audience
as The Joker on the "Batman" TV show of the 60s, or as the mobster who
foiled the heist on the original "Ocean's Eleven."

**Video ETA - Though they don't sell DVDs, they will let you know when new
releases are due out.
